Maybe I misunderstood the other message. That person wasn't releasing igs into the wild (from my understanding). He was catching wild igs in FL and trying to find homes for them. I thought wild-caught animals were not legal to keep as pets. That's like catching squirrels or doves or pigeons and keeping them here (PA). Your answer was "it's NOT legal to release them into the wild". We are getting mixed messages somewhere.
