I've read that we have Wild Iguanas in Tampa,FL but I have yet to see any. I've been looking for them. Any idea where these can be found?
Thanks,
Frank
: Yes you do not understand .
: 1) Iguanas are NOT native to Florida .
: 2) Iguanas living in the wild where released there .
: 3) After reading points one and two you must realize that these iguanas are not a native species and as such are not subject to the same rules . In fact in most places a bounty is placed on introduced species . The fact is they do not belong there and have a negative impact on the native eco system .
