spiny tail question, please answer. i know this wrong forum

i would have posted in the ctenosaura forum, but there hasn't been a post there for days so i'm concerned noone would read my post. i'm considering getting a mexican spinytail(2002 cb). i read they get 4 feet. is that normal or maximum size? what size cage would an adult reqire?
