See I just posted re the ig bite and quoted an article saying to be sure and tell dr they carry gram NEGATIVE. Check out website below.

Now I'm wondering if it should be that they CAN carry negative rather than that they DO???? Anyone know for sure?

I'll tell you what scares me the most about what your vet is seeing....the first thing that came to mind is "mouth rot" and as most of you all know here at the ig forum a friend here recently lost her iZ to this. Maybe I'm reading too much in to what you saw in the throat and to what your vet scraped off for lab work. But I'd like to be so bold as to suggest to you that you ask your vet if it is a possibility. And, yes, if it is that it can be treated but that stuff is agressive and hard to cure.

Hope whatever it is turns out to be "easy" if there is such a thing with these green ones!
