baby iggy need info...

I have a baby iggy I just got one week ago. Its 4 1/2 inches TVL. I have no idea how old it is, can anyone tell me how to tell the apprx. age? Also, is it normal for them to try to bite you? So far it has only bitten my shirt and my hair, no blood loss yet!! Please tell me how to tame this cutie and any other tips would be appreciated. Meanwhile I'm reading everything I can get my hands on. Thanks in advance. Barbs
