Hi and welcome to you and your iglet.What has always worked for us with all our lizards is to stay calm and move slowly when around your baby.We also put on our old t-shirt in their hide box to get use to our smell.We now have a box of old t-shirs that we still put in their cages and we would also wear the same shirt two days in a row so they smelled the same oders.We also didn't wear fragrances while first getting them use to us.It has done well for us thi way and the only bite I got was from a 5yr.male,who thought I was his mate.
Good luck and handle your baby often and gently and your iglet will grow to love and trust you.
