We recently rescued an ig from a petstore, and he looks like he had quite a few sheds where his spike coverings on his back (the few he has left) didn't come off properly. I mean, they're all ridged and akward looking. and some are even small and really curved. He seems to be doing really well, eating, challenging our other adult male (we are sure that they will never be out alone together.) and generally behaving much better than I would have expected a rescue ig to be. We saw some spray that helped shed come off, but we wanted to ask you guys about it before I spent our money on it! Any advice? Here's some pics of him. He's so adorable. I wanted to also ask everyone about his coloring...hes a really beautiful turquoise with black stripes. when he's stressed he turns sort of grey. Help?
I'll post pictures as soon as I figure out how...any hints???
