i used Shed Ease when iZ was younger and still terrified of the tub ... i diluted it 1:1 with water and would sponge it on the stubborn spots ... i'm not sure either that plain old water wouldn't have worked just as well ... but i did have good results with it ...
sometimes when there's a couple layers of old shed they are really stubborn! i've also taken a little pair of scissors and snipped *carefully* up the side of the stubborn spike shed ... i don't try to snip it all the way off, just loosen it up a bit and make sure to mist/sponge/whatever it extra good the next few days ... it *should* then slip off easily after that ... *O*N*L*Y* do this if your ig is calm enough and you *know* you won't slip!!!!!
regular warm tub soaks will help this shed and prevent problems with future ones ... (tho you may have to bargain with your ig on how *often*! iZ has finally, grudgingly agreed to every other day ...)
some of iZ's spikes are curved too ... doesn't *seem* to be a problem with shedding thing ... think it's just how some of them grow ... ?!?!

green onions + tub toys for everyone!
