Thanks for the kind words Sue:). I've always been an animal lover, but just never thought of pet iguanas... we will do our best to take care of these 2 new babies.
Thanks for the suggestions also:). Today, Rex brightened a bit more INSIDE the tank, so perhaps I was hasty in assuming it was Zul she didn't like... maybe the tank itself brought back unhappy memories. They MUST live together til we can build something bigger, so it made me feel much better that her color improved.
They still aren't eating their MK salad, so I added more green beans and carrots to the small batch I made yesterday... hope they'll want some now. They're still very thin, but I guess it's a bit much to expect more dramatic improvement in 3 days. Since they did eat so many greens, I just put out the MK salad without greens hoping they'll at least try it...
I saw the link for Mr D's page today, and wanted to mention that it is a great site! Really helpful:). Where's the 'Broken Tail' section:P?
Also, I read many of the replies and suggestions from this board and I think it's really wonderful how many people take the time to help others with their new pets:). If not for people like you guys and those who put their time, hearts and souls into their Iguana websites, there'd be many more suffering iguanas than there are now. So many really wonderful people dedicated to helping iggies really makes you feel like they must be very special indeed.
