How much did you pay for that bulb? A good indicator is price as the full spectrum bulb types by Zoomed(Powersun) and T-Rex(Active UV) are $50-65 each. I haven't heard a whole lot about the ESU or if they have a version of that. If you aren't looking to spend that much than just get the Zoomed 5.0 Iguana light (tube) online for about $20. You will also need a heat light which can be a regular household bulb..buy a thermometer to test the cage temps.
That cage size sounds great.
NO LIVE PREY EVER!!!!! They are vegetarians and need a calcium rich diet...collards, mustards, turnip greens, watercress, endive, escarole, squash, a little fruit like melon, mango, berries, papaya. If you feed them a calcium rich diet, you only need minimal calcium supplementation. Also get a vitamin supplement.

: : Full Sprectrum Lights are the best way to go. Too much UVB can be potentially harmful to u and the lizard's eyes and skin. I read this in books and heard from other people I know.
: I got an ESU reptile 150watt incandescent full spectrum heat lamp. However I was told that there is no way posable to make an incandescent bulb full spectrum so it is just fauls advretizment. An out dore enclosure is a must I am planing it as we speek. What dementionas do you recomend? I was thinking 6X6X6 foot that sould be big enough dont you think? thanks for all the help What do you think about calcium and phosforus suplements in the food? Also will they eat live prey such as pinky mice?
: : If u live in warm weather all year long, it's even better.

: : Hope this helps!
