does she have any kind of routine as far as *when* she goes?
i inadvertently trained iZ when we had "our constipation scare" ... everyday at the same time (late afternoon), i'd put him in a tub of warm water and he'd poop (of course!) ... pretty soon, his body had adjusted to being emptied out at that time of day and he'd also learned what "bathroom" *meant* so as soon as i'd go to get him, i'd tell him 'time to go *bathroom*' and he knew what to expect/do ...
i put less + less water in, til there was no water and he'll line up with the drain now ... ('cept in the winter, i'll put an inch of warm water in the tub just to warm it up!)
i don't remember how big Gwaners is??? if you don't want to use your tub, you could try the same thing with her litter box ... put her in the box when *you* would like her to go ...
every time you're there when she's actually "in the act" say 'gooooood gwaners! bathroom! bathroom, gwaners ...' (you'll still get that *huh?* look, but she *will* learn to understand that *Bathroom* means ok, POOP!)
if you catch her in the act somewhere other than her designated spot, tell her *bathroom*, and pick her up and put her in the litter box and praise her and repeat *bathroom* ...
this could be hard if your schedule varies or you get home a bit later than what she'd like to go ...
is she in an enclosure during the day? a variation of puppy training with a crate/pen might help .... igs really don't want to poop where they're gonna have to hang out with it all day either and so she may learn to hold it a bit longer til she can get to her box ....
