Sorry to laugh at your post...but I almost fell out of my chair. Mostly because everyonce in a blue moon. Baby gets into my loft and does his duty in the middle of my bed. Let me tell you it is not fun to realize that you have a present after you are snugled into it. Nor is it fun to change the sheets at the time you are trying to go to sleep.

I found the best thing for Baby's potty training (and believe me it hasn't been fun) is to fill a cat litter box with about 1 inch of warm water. Put him in it and wait. He gets to stay there until he does his duty. Sometimes it is a battle of wills. If I let him win the next day is more difficult. It usually takes him between 5 and 20 minutes to go. I have found that turning on a light right before I take a shower helps with waking him up. That way he has a little bit of time to wake up before I expect him to go. This seems to have fixed 75% of the problem, every once in a while he goes twice a day. At least now he is getting better about going closer to his box. Good luck.
