When i first adopted Jupiter and put him on the right diet (he was being kept by an animal rescue group and they were feeding him lettuce, carrots and alfalfa pellets) his poop was huge, like a cat did it (i have cats and am just comparing). It has been a few months since i got him, and now his poop seems a lot smaller. He eats mustard and collard greens, endive (sometimes), and yellow squash. He gets fruit every now and again. The humidity in his enclosure hasnt been staying up, and i am wondering if his poop is smaller because he is absorbing more moisture from it to keep his moisture up. He still makes a mess of it if i dont get to it first.
I am just wondering why it isnt as big as before. I also thought maybe it was so big because he was getting rid of junk form his poor diet and his body was adapting. I have no clue. Any help? Thank you.
Mike
