Pic and a story... not a pretty sight at all

OK... only posting this for those who do not go to the CoRR site.

This is Caesar. He was rescued by the CoRR South area manager. Over a year old, 27 grams. MBD, severe jaw deformities, total lack of proper diet, heat, and light. No tail, missing most of his claws, some toes gone too. He lived all of one day in our care. All that could be done was done, but sometimes the damage is just too severe.

I hope to never see another iguana like this. I honestly dont know how someone could have let him get this bad. I cannot come down hard on his owners though. If only we could have reached them sooner.

Mainly just an eye opener guys... We are do what we can to help ones like this, but there will always be some that just cannot be saved.
