Kelp has antibiotic action against gram-negative and -positive bacteria. Alfalfa has antibiotic action against gram-positive bacteria (like salmonella). (Again I'm gettting this from Kymythy Schultze's book Natural Nutrition for Dogs and Cats) Ever think about using the alfalfa/kelp mixture as a replacement for conventional reptile vitamins and to see if it makes any changes in the fecal problems?
