Just a word from my own experience ... I tried to talk to my vet about this and while he kicks booty and is very up to date, he doesn't have much info on what he considers to be "herbals". If you have a holistic vet or one that practices "natural medicine" they would be excellent to ask, but most conventional vets just don't have the info and some don't wanna hear anything about it.
