The directions I have say to buy human grade fine powder of both. Mix them 50/50 and keep them in a dark glass jar in a cool place. Use only a small amount in comparision to what you are feeding. I have taken that to mean roughly 1/2-1 teaspoon to 1-1.5 cups of food every other day at the most.
