are Iguanas smart........??????

Because today Iggy crawled her little tail into the bedroom ( I didnt realize the door was open at the time) and I was looking for her and found her under the bed, in that room it is usually cool (im used to sleeping with the window open, and YES i know its Jan) and she was under the bed and she wasnt exactly cold , but she was cooler than she should be. didnt she realize that she was too cold?? she usually goes to her basking spot when she likes but for some reason she stayed in the room....... why would she do this? did she not realize to get out?
