My iguana just climbed behind the heating which was extremely hot in my opinion (I couldnt hold my hand against it) I saw him as he climbed in, so I got him out almost immediately, luckily. His body was completely against it, but he didnt seem burned or something. I put him in a bowl of cool water(He wasnt impressed) and then I sprayed him with their water bottle for a while.
Does the animal not feel is he is getting burned or something? Are burns always visible (could he burned anyways?)
I feel so bad for him, I know it was my fault. I know to pay more attention to that now.
