Iguana abuse : URGENT

I recently went into a pet shop asking for an Iguana and was directed into a back room behind the fish tanks where there were 5-6 of the sickest most miserable, half-dead iguanas i have ever seen, cold open air cage, little water, no food, absesses, bone disease and mites.
What can I do to liberate, or help these abused iguanas?
