i don't know if the Humane Society would help you (them!) or not ... the only other thing i can think of is to try and "make public" the condition of the store's igs/herps ... maybe if you're in a small enough town and it's a "slow news day" the local tv station would be interested? are there any herp societies near you? maybe they could help or give you some more ideas on how to help the igs ...
see Joan's post below for some things to mention to who ever you DO decide to contact .... even tho they're "just lizards", it's still animal cruelty and just plain WRONG ... i don't know if the the animal control protion of your local police would/could help or not ...? it it was puppies + kitties, you could bet on it ....
try asking other sites for ideas/input too ... wish i had a better answer for you! but let us know what happens ok?
