Squashn' it

Hello,

I'm adding squash to my iguana's diet and am wondering what is the best way to serve it. I've heard people say you can cook it before serving. Can you also serve it raw? And how would you cook the squash? Microwave? oven? boil?

thanks for the help. It mentions squash in my Iguana manual, but doesn't go into detail how to prepare it.
