: Also bear in mind that many nutrients are destroyed whenever something is cooked. Raw is definitely preferable. What type of squash are you adding to your diet and to which iguana manual are you referring?
I'm going to try and add acorn and butternut squash; I hope she'll eat it. I was finally able to find a store that still carried collard greens and dandelions greens and mustard greens here in Calgary, Alberta (Canada).
The main iguana book I go by is the "iguana for dummies" my girlfriend got it for me for my birthday, best iguana book that I've read, there is another out there that I'm looking to get my hands on, but can't remember the title or the author, but I've seen it once for sale at a reptile show, but couldn't afford it at the time.
Anyways, Thanks for the input on the squash, all of you, and for the speedy replies, was hoping to prepare her next batch of food this morning and now I can. I'll try raw at first, and if she eats it great, if not I'll try the cooked method.
Have a great weekend.
Marc
