Well thanks to all who responded, especially to nanci for her long and very helpful e mail.Nanci sorry about this but a little C&P from your e mail...
my arms and hands are to shreds from Godzilla's nails, hopefully no longer after this morning and after receiving Nanci's e mail..Godzilla had really long nails and I didnt know if I should cut them or not.is morning before work it was a case of ...ok that's it and we cut his nails, needless to say , mom was a bad mom and nipped the one nail, I felt so bad and my son was in tears...you hurt him you hurt him!!! Well it was just a tiny drop and to ease my guilt he got a huge piece of paw paw for being so good! LOl (I cannot believe I am talking about a lizard like this! ) He was so good when I was doing it, I held him in my one hand and cut the nails with the other! I thought there would be a lot of wriggling and jumping and whipping! But no..he was an angel..oooops can youcall a lizard that?
I have still not seen him drink, we put him in the bath this morning, (Not something we would usually have time to do), no drinking, no pooping�I swear he doesn�t do either!!
I am worried , he seems a little wrinkly..is he perhaps dehydrated?
I really do need to find out what the correct colour , texture etc should be, he did it once and it was a long black thingy! Eeeeeeewwwwwww! That was the day he poohed and weed on me!

He is about 5 inches from the nose to the base of the tail, would anyone have any idea how old he might be?
Thanks for the advice re the food etc, I will try to stick to it, he loves the grated carrot, may I ask why you say dont give it? I feed him these very green leaves, they are from the oriental market, broccoli lettuce or something...he loves it and eats like a pig! He really does have a good appetite and it isnt a problem getting him to eat...just the water issue.
I also accept the plant advice, but if you had to see my home you would realise that i cannot remove them! LOl I have about forty plants! It is like a jungle, I have not once seen him trying to eat any of the plants, he just likes to lie in the yukka with the lamp on him!
Again thanks and hopefully someone can help me with the above questions!
