if it makes you feel better I see no problem using carrots as a supplement. If you are giving greens like you say then its not a real worry. Its like the people who say that you should never use kale or spinach because it binds calcium. Yes if you fed only these three things you would have great problems, but a diet of tons of veggies is great. The more variety the better the iguana. Keep the greens as a main part of the diet, then no problems. Also it is my experience that extra carrots will give better colors. More orange. Makes sense doesn't it give them orange they go orange. No I wont gaurantee orange because color is also a regional thing that can be inherited, but thats another story Good luck. And remember its just my opinion and experience.
