It's mesh screen walls, and I'm in Sarasota Florida... so it's generally not under 70 at night, but it has been known.
The main reason I thought about the black heat lamps was to give off just a little light at night. We've used the "Night-Glo" and the ESU black lights with our leopard geckos, and the Night-Glo ones seem to give off a fair amount of light at night too - according to the box it "Simulates natural moonlight for nocturnal viewing". So this would allow us to be able to see them at night without having to turn other lights on and risk waking them up.
I've taken some pics that I've got to get up on my site sometime over the next couple of days, so I'll let you know the URL when I've got them up so you can see the enclosure.
