Well, we had a problem with Annie in her old cage, it was aluminum screen, and she kept rubbing her nose on it when we first got her, and it bled a little bit. She quit doing it after a while, and the... umm... I'll finish typing this message as soon as we capture Annie... she just escaped and is up in our orange tree in the back yard. (It's now 5:30pm)

Ok, it's 6:30pm, she's no longer in the orange tree, I guess she ain't keen on fruit, heh. Now she's up in the Oak tree, which is not exactly a good thing, cuz it's a pain in the a*s to climb, but here goes...

7:30pm.. just got back from home depot where we bought a long pole to try and coax her down. We also suspended a heat lamp up in the tree to see if the warmth would bring her a lil lower - that doesn't seem to have worked. So, we're going to eat now, then have another go...

7:45.. ok, we eaten, now it's time for a cig, and out we go..

20:35... Well, we managed to get her down, although me and Cheri both feel real bad. She climbed down to an altitude of about 15 foot, tried to leap to another branch and slipped, dropping to the ground. Fortunately Cheri & Alicia were underneath with a blanket ready to catch her. Annie hit the blanket, and promptly death-rolled and managed to get onto the ground. We got her about 10ft away trying to climb up the wall of the shed (which is flat so she wouldn't have got anywhere with that), and wrapped her in a towel to try and calm her down a little.

Upon inspection inside under some light, we noticed she may have broken a couple of toes on one of her back legs, but we'll take a closer look tomorrow when she's had a little time to get over the ordeal.

Hopefully she'll be ok, and the shock/stress won't kill her, so keep your fingers crossed for us guys. She's back in the enclosure with Skittles now, and, like I said, hopefully she'll be ok. If she goes back to her old self, and the toes turn out ok, then great. If she starts going downhill, we'll take her along to the vet.

Anyway, back to your question Mr. D, she rubbed her nose on the aluminum screen on her cage, and it kinda bloodied her nose a lil bit. It's ok now that she's shed a couple of times though. The screen that we've got up in the enclosure is just the same screen we have out on the back porch and covering the windows to stop bugs gettin' in. It's pretty heavy duty stuff, although not aluminium/aluminum. It does have fibers inside it to make it stronger, and Skittles has been roaming out in the back porch before now climbing right up to the top of it and it's not ripped, torn or broke at all. As you can see, I've attached a pic so you can get a close up of the size of the holes in it, with a quarter there to give you some perspective.

There ya go.
