I own a 4 1/2 foot male green iguana, which I keep in a 5'x4'x2' wood enclosure.
It has a repti-carpet substarte with two branches, a peace of driftwood, and a large kitty litter box used as a pond. I am using a hot rock right now I am going to switch to a heat pad though.
Which is cheaper a human heating pad or a reptile one?
Ever since it has turned fall he has been switching from the rock, to the repti-carpet and back again.
His cage temp ranges from 80-81 F. Its heated with two 100 watt basking bulbs.
If anyone can help me that would be liked.
