TAIL GROW BACK?
If only smaller part of the tail is lost it can almost grow completely back.
Larger parts will not. Larger tail drops grows back and looks something like a tail on a beaver (diffrent skin and coloring).
TOES/TAIL PROBLEM
This can be a shedding problem where maybe several layers of old skin that hasnt come properly off now prevents the blood circulation leading to to a poisionous inflammation of tissue (black tailtip/toes/spots). Such problem can also be caused by bad diets (animal protein food) in the past where the iguana's blood vessels now are full of bad stuff like fat and other things now preventing the blood to circulating properly.
Toes and tip of tail with tiny blood passages are the most sensitive body parts to such problems.
I hope this helps
