Thank you all for your replies. I asked the pet jail I got it from what they had been feeding it so I would have an idea of how he has been treated, I know a lot of pet shops feed young iguanas crickets, but they said they had been feeding it canned mixed vegetables and frozen/thawed strawberries. I know this isn't the best choice in food for an iguana, but at least they weren't feeding it meat or just iceburg lettuce. So I'm thinking maybe the toe "rot" has to do with maybe unclean enclosure. Maybe bacteria or something. It's not just the tips, he has lost whole toes. Only on his back feet though. The front ones are just fine. He looks healthy otherwise. The tail coming off has nothing to do with it rotting. It came off by accident, he had a run in with a young savannah monitor that saw his tail moving and got ahold of the tip. Its a long story....
Anyway, I don't think the toes has anything to do with circulation, because they didn't just fall off, they rotted away. And still are. He is healthy otherwise. I have been feeding him mainly collard greens, with about 15% of finely chopped fruits and veggies, and occaisionally some flowers. He is a beautiful green, plump, active (very mean though!). All is well except the toes now. (And his attitude towards people!) He's one of those igs that will bite the hand that feeds him! He's getting better though, and he will eat out my hand without biting me too. I guess I am going to have to take him to the vet.

Does anyone have any idea how much it will cost? Thanks for the advice.
