let's make a list of HOW to find a good herp vet!
EVERYone contribute your hints/ideas/how you found yours and i'll compile them and then when we tell some one to find to good herp vet, we can be a bit more specific as to HOW ...
i am now on my 5th vet in 2 yrs so i'm sure not an expert and could also use the advise!
about all i have is a list of sign of a *not good* vet... like if you walk in and the entire office PLUS the vet freak out at your 3' ig cuz it's the biggest they've ever seen .... a vet who tries to use a hemostat to pry your ig's mouth open (grrrrrrr!)... the vet who told me when i called about iZ's broken tail to "just drop him off at the office and i'll get to him when i can, do whatever, and you can get him in the morning" (yeh right)
ANYway - any one have some helpful hints on what to ask/look for?
