And fortunately Mr. D's opinions carry alot of weight in this iguana circle. Mr. D and IC do iguana rescue and rehab, just as I do...and we hate to see any more baby igs brought into the retail world, including albinos or other morphs. Maybe they will demand a high price, and that will encourage their owners to take proper care of them, but that's only if they take the time to learn the proper care. Albinos open up a whole different set of husbandry problems.
I have an amazing blue ig under my care. He's gorgeous to look at and has a wonderful temperament....his offspring would probably be worth some bucks if they looked like him. But, I would never consider breeding him. So many unwanted igs, so little space and time......
