my young iguana (age unknown since he was a stray) moved into a new enclosure on Saturday
He is approx 18" long and was in a 55 gallon tank for about 6 weeks. He is now in a 5'high x 4' wide x 3' deep enclosure. He hides under the shelves or in his hide box and will only eat his fruit. if I take him out for a cuddle, he's fine. He still enjoys his bath but as soon as I put him back in, he goes back under the middle shelf. I can put him on the top shelf but since there's no place to hide, he'll go down a level and then hide and stay there. If I put him on the bottom, he'll stay there. He seems fine when he's out.
Does anyone have any idea how long this space will intimidate him until he gets used to it?
