I agree with Mr. D. Check to make sure it's warm enough in there. Can you put some familiar things in there, too?
I've changed my iggie's "home" four times already (every time she's grown) and she's never gotten stressed. Of course, after she outgrew my large birdcage, she's been on different size tables and now the top of a dog pen, so the only thing that's changed was the size of the top (so to speak). The location and all of her familiar blankets, dishes, etc., are all the same.
With each change, I make sure her basking area is at the same location.
