this is a pic of iZ bobbing "hello" ... :)
he's got a zillion different bobs ... some are friendly, some are NOT ~ *generally* if the dewlap is extended and the ig is "puffed up", it's more of a threat than a "hi there" ...
iZ has bobs that tell me he wants more salad, or that he wants me to re-arrange it cuz he's smeared it all over his plate, or that he wants his back rubbed, or to tell me hello or good nite ...

even tho this pic *looks* like his dewlap was extended, it was actually just bobbing along with his head ... (hmmm ... did that make ANY sense?)



now, if you're greated with an open-mouthed *hiss* ~ it's generally a reeeeeeallly good idea to *Back Away* ... it only *looks* like he's smilin' ... open-mouth hisses ARE a threat ... (and you're seriously lacking in common sense if you stop and take a pic of it!!!!)
