i'd say that climbing and vertical space is more important than floor space ~ most igs aren't gonna spend much time on the floor ~ they'd rather have a choice of things to climb on, a choice of shelves or branches to hang out on ...
but don't skimp on the width/depth of an enclosure either~ give him enough room to stretch out ...
