Weird discoloration....HELP!

Hi everyone,

My fiance and I noticed something odd on his Iguana this morning. One of his front feet was almost like a copper (almost metallic looking ) color and the iggy was favoring it and limping. There was a distinct line of color differation on the leg. What could have caused this color change. We soaked it this evening and the color began to change a little bit back to green. The majority of the foot remained copper colored. I noticed the foot was a little bit swollen when compared to the other one.

Could you please give us come clue as to what is happening to our Ig? Is is something that we can fix or will we have to take it to the vet.

Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks a lot
