It sounds like your animal is could be suffering from either Metabolic Bone Disease or Gout.Both can be attributed to improper diet and/or husbandry.It would be in your best interest(and the Iguana's)to seek veterinary assistance and,to re evaluate it's diet and temp.'s to see what can be changed to keep either from recurring.Perhaps you(or your fiance)can write again and list your current keeping practices and maybe we can try to find the problem.Again,in my opinion you should take your Iguana to your vet ASAP.Good Luck.
