I am sitting here, hoping to get some encouragment on my seemingly disintagrating relationship with my relatively new pet iguana....Cleo has been here for two months, and it seems as tho she is acting worse towards me instead of getting better. I know I need to spend more time with her, I suppose that is the most important thing. I make sure she gets the right foods, I have made every effort to provide her with a hospitable habitat, but when I get near her she trys to thump me with her tail, and when I hold her and talk to her she just seems to detest every minute of it. I guess what I'm searching for is hope....If I spend more time with her, will things get better? Has this happened to any one else out there?? I have read a little on taming...I thought the most important thing was consistant time spent together. Though I guess if I was truely honest, I haven't spent loads of time with her...but I have spent a little each day....well...I could go on...but you get the point. We were kinda having fun there for a while...at least I thought we were!! :o)
thanks for any input!!
