I know how you feel, but I wouldn't take it personally. Sneakers is very calm 3 or 4 times in a row when I reach in for her, then she will act as if we just met and gets all stressed out. Just keep holding, petting and talking to her. I just keep talking to Sneakers while holding her until I see that her curiosity got the better of her and she settles down and starts looking around at whats going on.
