When I worked at a highrise, we'd have to test the airhandler unit on a regular bases for basteria. There's a type that grows in lower temps in the condensation pans of cooling units and can spread to the cooling coils. Once this happens, people can get ill from the air being pumped into the office areas.
It's been so long since I've been in that business I can't remember the bacteria name for the life of me, but management took it very seriously as a threat to human health and trust me when I say that they (management) wouldn't of done testing on a regular bases if there wasn't a danger.
I would think that if moisture levels were right and temps that it might be possible. If a very small fecal sample was on a very small piece of shed, it might be able to be drawn into the vent system.....but I would rate that as extremely rare if not almost impossible.
