How to prepare Squash

I just took a baby ig off my friends hands for him and was out buying him his food, and got some BUTTERNUT SQUASH. I am kind of confused on how to prepare it for the iguana! Do I cook it, serve it raw or what??? Also I got some squash that simply said "YELLOW, AND GREEN SQUASH". Can I feed this to him too? Didn't have a particular name like "Butternut"!!!!
