Weird...red eyes..sign of inflammation SOMEWHERE whether its local (eyes) or orginating from somewhere else...like a bacterial infection.
Good deal with the vet. Keep her warm and comfortable. I'd even up the temps in her enclosure some aim for 90-95 degree range basking 85 ambient. If she doesn't have nighttime heating now is a good time to make sure she stays warm...even if you have a human heat pad set on low...she can lay on will help.
