: Remember, iguanas don't "get tame" by themselves, you as their owner have to work with them to tame them. You have to earn an iguana's trust. Your ig may have been tame with its last owners, but change of scenery and environment and owners can stress the ig out. Be patient, and the more you work with your ig, the sooner you will have a calmer iguana. There is a lot of info on the net about taming igs.
