: every morning and afternoon when I fed MY iguana she lunges at me for the food. That is not enjoyable.

: Everyday after eating she poos on her spot, cleaning it is not enjoyable.

: Paying huge vet bills last year two weeks after getting her, that was not enjoyable.

: Driving up to an hour for the correct food sometimes for her, is not enjoyable.

: Her getting angry and pooing all over my clean clothes or bed, THAT is not enjoyable.

: Her escaping her cage last week in the middle of the night, then getting VERY angry at us for putting her back in, and whipping. That was not enjoyable.

: Not being able to take a vacation because no one else I know would offer to watch her long enough, properly, THAT is not enjoyable.

: When she walks through her poo and I have to bath her three or four times that day, THAT is not enjoyable.

: Now lets look at this from the IGUANAS point of view and see whats enjoyable.

: Living in this cage is not enjoyable. I want trees.

: Going form owner to owner because someone didn't enjoy me, THAT is not enjoyable.

: Eating things that my relatives in the wild will never see is not enjoyable.

: Not being able to climb and jump like wild iguanas that is not enjoyable.

: Watching that furry large animal who they call dog is not enjoyable.

: Going through a Canadian winter lights or not is not enjoyable.

: Looking out my humans window and seeing snow for 6 months, that is not enjoyable.

: Getting pricked and prodded at a vet, that is not enjoyable.

: Mark what you don't seem to understand is that although my iguana and I both don't enjoy a lot of our relationship together, Everytime I see someones face when they look at her letting me rub her belly, or everytime I see her settle in for a comfortable nights sleep, or see her eating four bowls of food, or seaking out my affection, THAT makes it worth it. My iguana could bite one of my fingers off, and do it again next month, and I would still do everything in my power to love her, care for her, and not "dump her" because ITS NOT ENJOYABLE FOR ME ANYMORE. Why don't you think about that iguana and what HE thinks is enjoyable. Its not up to him to change his behaviour and please YOU, its the other way around.
