Floyds & Miya's fecal test results!have questions!!HELP!

Well I had dropped off Floyds & Miya's fecal test before leaving the country so I just called and found out the results were negative!yeah!!!~ Now here is what the vet said~ He said that means there may not be any parasites BUT there still could be as some parasites can be ilusive~ SO he recommends bringing them down for a check up and to get them dewormed anyway...hmmmmm....If i remember right its not really best for the iguana to get dewormed unless they actually have worms....I told him okay i would get back to him. But now I am wondering should I trust this vet? I am going to make my decision by peoples responses here!~ I do want to take them in for a wellness checkup ~ But since they came back negative on the fecals I am really confused as to the vet wanting to deworm them anyway!argggg~~ I mean if you plan to deworm them anyway than why bother with the fecal test!!?????
