Lol...Tif from my point of view...take yer iggies in one at a time, have a direct fecal smear done WHILE they're there getting their wellness check.
Wait a couple of weeks tho. Reason...maybe the samples sent to the vet weren't gathered correctly, not fresh enough, contained dead parasite matter, maybe the testing solution or technique was compromised. IF your vet wants to see your iggies BEFORE de-worming them that is the correct procedure anyway. In order to properly dose your igs they MUST be weighed.
If this is their first well-check they are due anyway!..go with a direct fecal smear, most reliable samples obtained that way. Why is it you have no confidence in your vet? Does he see herps? How many iggie patients does he see? Shop around for another vet if you aren't satisfied with him. Let experience be your guide. I would get a well-check/physical inc. bloodwork (baseline) and fecal analysis on any newly acquired iggy. Aren't you doing rescue now? Doing rescue includes LOTS of trips to the vet!! Your vet should know yer doing rescue and adjust his fees accordingly. I would NOT have your iggies de-wormed prophylactically tho too disruptive to their natural microflora.
