Questions on past posts

Hi, a little while ago I read a few things on this forum that I have questions about.

The first is someone said (maybe this one wasn't on this forum....but I'll give it a shot anyway)that if the water in the swimming pool is safe for you it is safe for your iguana...wouldn't the chlorine hurt it? Is this the same for snakes (I'm not planning to take my snake in the pool, i'm just wondering....dont' worry).

The second was someone said that you should never take an iguana or a snake out in public unrestrained, how do you restrain a snake? Other than holding it that is........thanks for your help! Wendy
