active UV

Ok, I'm pretty sure I'm going to get an active UV light, but will that be the only light my iggy will need during the day if her cage is 4x4x2? Also, where do I get one? My current UV light strip is about 17inches (maybe closer) to the iguana so I'm really scared she's not getting enough UV (I'm taking her outside today). Will she be fine until I get the active UV light?
