I have no clue what to do. With shipping, an active UV light costs nearly $60 and with mixed opinions I'm not sure what to do. Zabouri's right arm might actually be doing worst, but it's hard to tell when I can't get near her. I might wait until the end of the year to get her an active UV bulb, but if her current UV light doesn't produce enough UV that might be too late.

: that the bulbs have a one year warranty and that you should call the company and they will replace the bulb. The bulb alone will NOT make a differnce in any animal -you still have to feed proper diet, have a good setup, humidity, etc. The bulb is not a miracle fix all. It's just a better tool to provide UVA and UVB than currently available with other companies.

:
: Also, it seems to me that you are a little confused as to how to use the bulbs. We use 100 watt floods in most enclosures and do not need an additional basking light. You don't want the entire cage lit up like the 4th of July -there needs to be a shady area too -just like if you had an outside cage.

: The bulbs can be purchased at http://www.ubheat.com or http://www.herpsupplies.com

: We have been using them for the past few months and have seen positive effects. We have used them on healthy igs and sick igs -I have to say I like them far better than the old double light setup. I'm not going to get into another debate or discussion about these bulbs with someone who obviously has their mind made up to such a degree that they won't even listen long enough to hear that they can get a replacement or maybe even a refund. I've given chapter and verse many times over on these lights already. They, if used properly, are an excellent tool.
